A utilities client in the Houston area is looking for an Analyst to join their Distribution Planning Support team. They currently own the website that service a lot of the different groups across the company. All the individuals in these groups across the company will come to this website for all information regarding standards, processes, financial information, equipment information, links to tableau and other reports, etc. the list can go on. For their current website they maintain scripting in-house using ASP (switching over to PHP) language. This role includes, but is not limited to addressing issues with the website from any internal users (via email), working on special projects to help automate the system and implement new technologies, add onto the automated existing processes through scripting, troubleshooting system errors, making upgrades to the websites based on user request, etc. They will also be helping when adding new groups to this website and creating sections for them. There may be a chance they will eventually want to rebuild this website from scratch, using new programming language, that is why having java script and python knowledge is important.
