Job Description

The Manager, Technology Sourcing Shared Services will support the Head of Sourcing in leading and managing the shared services sourcing team in Bogota. This role focuses on operational excellence in technology procurement and sourcing, ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of technology goods and services. The position requires strong leadership, a background in supplier management, and the ability to work across various departments and regions. The ideal candidate will prioritize the growth and well-being of their team members, fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Support the Head of Sourcing in leading a team of technology sourcing professionals, including Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring alignment with Visa’s operational goals and objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Empower team members by providing the necessary resources, support, and opportunities for professional growthStrategic Sourcing: Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that drive and optimize cost savings, quality, efficiency, and delivery performance. Identify and evaluate potential technology suppliers, negotiate contracts including governing agreements, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with Visa’s standards and requirementsOperational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective procurement and sourcing of technology goods and services while maintaining transparency and adhering to best practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the sourcing process and outcomes. Ensure team is achieving key performance indicators for organization and provide data analysis and reporting to Sourcing Leadership Team.Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Technology, Finance, Legal, and other departments, to ensure alignment and support of sourcing initiatives. Act as a liaison between the sourcing team and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues that ariseSupplier Relationship Management: Develop, manage, and grow strong relationships with current and future technology suppliers Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure high-quality service delivery. Ensure compliance with Visa’s policies and procedures, as well as any relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Visa’s policies and procedures.  Identify and mitigate sourcing risks.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.Ability to articulate software licensing and hardware procurement strategies.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Fully bilingual in English & Spanish is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).Experience working in a shared services environment.
