Job Description:At Regions, the Technology Services Implementation Specialist utilizes technical knowledge to partner with company objectives and facilitate the Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) deployment and execution process for different company initiatives. This role is responsible for the receiving, configuration, installation, deployments and decommission of various IT assets including computer systems, peripherals, printers, scanners, and servers used to support associates.
Primary Responsibilities
Configures and installs computer hardware, software, printers, scanners, servers, and other end user peripheralsCoordinates warranty repairs, replacements, and returns with manufacturers to resolve operating issuesMaintains accurate inventory of computer assets throughout the product lifecycle, including procurement, shipping, deployment, decommissioning, and disposalProvides training and technical assistance to usersSupports Facilities and Business Unit projectsPerforms other job-related duties and responsibilities as neededMay assists in installing, troubleshooting, and supporting core network infrastructure, including switches and routers, patch panels and network cablingFrequent travel including overnight travelThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

High School Diploma or GEDFour (4) years experience working with computers, printers, peripherals, network hardware, software, firmware, and operation systemsFamiliarity with Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows Server, PowerShell language, SCCM, Active Directory, Imaging and VDI solutionsAbility to lift or move items up to 50 poundsA valid driver's licenseWilling and able to travelPreferences
A+ Certification and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)Some college level courses plus technical trainingSkills and Competencies
Ability to manage the receiving and organizing of assetsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in computer maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem resolutionKnowledge of computer imaging, software installation and support, and implementing standard desktop and laptop solutionsKnowledge of physical server environments, network folder access, and drive mappingsOutstanding customer serviceProficient in printer installation, configuration, component functions, driver installation, maintenance and repairsThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.
