Hei Oranga Iwi | The opportunity  

As a Technology Project specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of large-scale technology initiatives across EY’s client portfolio. You’ll work closely with project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination, timely execution, and high-quality outcomes.

 

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities 

Coordinate project delivery activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting dashboards. Support Agile and Kanban methodologies in project tracking and sprint planning. Facilitate communication between technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders. Assist in risk identification, issue tracking, and resolution management. Ensure compliance with EY’s delivery standards and client expectations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates.

 

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success 

Learning Skills: Eagerness and capability to understand, synthesise and playback new complex concept in technology transformation space. Strategic Planning: Ability to autonomously produce draft assessment of technology options and approaches as part of the development and implementation of technology strategies aligned with business goals. Ability to incorporate feedback to refine and finalise the draft assessment of technology options and approaches. Project Management: Understanding of IT projects delivery, through all phases of the delivery lifecycle, including initiation, planning, building, testing, deployment, handover to support and closure. Delivery experience, as project team member, would be highly valuable. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in engaging and managing relationships with technical and business stakeholders at working level up to Tier 3, ensuring alignment and communication throughout the project lifecycle. Agile Methodologies: Knowledge and some experience of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to enhance project delivery and adaptability to changing requirements. Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the IT delivery lifecycle to ensure project success. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives. Client-Centric Approach: Focus on delivering value to clients through tailored technology solutions and exceptional service delivery.
