The Technology Project Manager delivers on our Purpose by overseeing all aspects of project management for AI projects over the entire life of the initiative. This role understands the business objectives and scope, and will guide a Team to deliver expected results for projects. The Technology Project Manager a detail-oriented thinker, who is ready to drive the future of Southwest’s Technology and modernize the operation.
Additional details:
This Dallas-based role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require onsite presence / travel for trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in an approved remote location within the Dallas - Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities
Define complex project plans/roadmaps including scope, budget and schedule, and execute tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practicesAssess project needs and resources continually to complete projects on time and within budget while managing log of risks, issues, mitigation strategies, and decisionsDrive testing and acceptance of project resultsPartner with resource managers, Business Partners and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completionLead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to LeadershipEstablish and execute a project communication plan to maintain project alignmentDrive Teams and Customers toward decisionsEstablish cross functional alliances within and outside of the Technology Department to drive resultsBuild partnerships to collaborate and use influence without authority to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and Support groupsWork with development teams to ensure work is completed as planned and follow analytical methods for task execution/tracking and budget/timeline trackingMay perform other job duties as directed by Employees' LeadersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: High School Diploma or GEDExperience

Competitive market salary from $110,900 per year to $123,200 per
year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual
contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the
discretion of the company.
