OVERVIEW
The goal of this initiative is to optimize Global Applications Technology Portfolio Management by developing the taxonomy, structure and relationships between and across the platforms, applications, services, capabilities, technologies, etc. that comprise the value we provide to the business.
Deliverables
TECHNOLOGY PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK:
+ A detailed and objective Taxonomy of all terms used in describing the Global Applications Technology Portfolio
+ A complete and detailed application inventory including all platforms, applications, services, technologies, interfaces, dependencies, and stakeholders
+ A 1.0 Global Applications Technology Stack describing the technologies used in delivery of Global Applications Services including:
+ A Global Applications technology lifecycle management framework which addresses identification & evaluation of new technologies, acquisition, implementation & integration, operation & support, disposal & decommission and provides for:
+ Standardization and appropriate investment in technologies
+ An exception process for technologies outside the Global Applications Technology Stack
+ Minimization of technology selection risk and use
+ Optimization of technology selection value
+ Blueprint Reference Architectures describing approved use of technologies for Global Applications
+ Technology Roadmaps for core Global Applications technologies
PORTFOLIO, PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT, TRANSFORMATION ANALYSIS
+ On time, on budget delivery of project as chartered
+ Provide all project management lifecycle functions including:
+ Project Definition: project charter, ground rules, stakeholders etc.
+ Project Planning: risk management, detailed scheduling, estimating
+ Project Execution & Control: measure & regularly report progress, manage resources, tasks and schedules, coordination, communication, scope control, corrective action, and closure
+ PROJECT CHARTER: Development, approval, scope/change management and maintenance of Project Charter which defines: project scope, goals, business case, deliverables, success criteria, approach, risks, dependencies, stakeholders, budget and milestones, etc.
+ PROJECT PLAN: Development, approval, change management and maintenance of Project Plan including detailed tasks and schedule, critical path, etc.
+ COMMUNICATION PLAN: Development, approval, change management and maintenance of Communication Plan which effectively communicates project expectations to stakeholders and manages expectations on an ongoing basis
+ RISK LOG: Development, mitigation management and maintenance of Risk Log including detailed documentation and management of risks, mitigations paths
+ REPORTING: Program and Project Status Reporting and supporting activities
+ Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
+ Identify and resolve issues and conflicts, manage project dependencies and critical path.
+ Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
+ Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Thorough understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (NIST, TOGAF, or related.)
+ Experience in developing Technology Portfolio Management Frameworks
+ Demonstrated pharma validated and non-validated systems and ecosystem expertise
+ Full lifecycle technology systems development and service management expertise
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, solid program and project management fundamentals
+ Skilled in navigating complex organizations and with minimal guidance, getting answers and delivering
+ Ability to succinctly communicate with senior technical and non-technical business leaders
