**Process Overview**
The Application Production Services & Engineering (APSE) organization leads end-to-end application production services across Global Technology. By partnering with development and infrastructure teams, they deliver best-in-class application availability and resiliency for clients and teammates, while deploying best practices in engineering and operational excellence.
Employee Experience Technology Application Production Services, part of the Application Production Services & Engineering (APSE) organization, manages all end user applications, computing, productivity, real time communications and collaboration services. Also responsible for user support and operations services. The team operates in more than 30 countries and is responsible for delivering end-to-end technology and operations supporting all workstation applications, platform, mobility services, and communication and collaboration technologies worldwide.
**Job Description**
Team is responsible for production deployment (Deployment coordination / scheduling / monitoring) and Deployment coordination of Core & LOB applications across enterprise onto Laptops/HVDs/Workstations as per standard change process. The team does deploy Global/LOB applications for UAT testing and also processes retirement of applications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Performing deployment of LOB applications for UAT testing and promote to production environment.
+ Supporting release and deployment of Global and Core applications across enterprise onto Windows platform
+ Work closely with LOB users/stakeholders to gather requirements, scheduling the deployment of applications, and monitoring the status of deployment.
+ Be the escalation point for critical issues/tasks and drive Operational excellence opportunities within the process.
+ Leading critical activities/tasks by partnering with multiple functions like packaging team, QA, Compliance and LOB users to support end-to-end deployment of applications to reach required saturation point.
+ Providing weekend support and taking part actively in Triage calls on needed basis.
+ Processing retirement of applications by closely working with App Governance team
+ Performing on-call support.
**Requirements***
+ **Education:** B. E, B. Tech
+ **Certifications If Any** : Preferably Deployment tools, Infrastructure related trainings and certifications, etc
+ **Experience Range:** 6 to 8 years of experience in Information technology
**Foundational skills**
+ 6+ years of experience with SCCM and Tanium.
+ Windows (Server 2013 & later, Windows 10 & 11) operating systems, networks, TCP/IP, and DNS
+ Windows Troubleshooting skills
+ Technology compliance.
+ Critical & independent thinking
+ Quick learner and adaptable
+ Deployment of Core & Global applications onto Windows endpoints across enterprise with tools like SCCM, Tanium, and other tools.
+ Expertise in Deployment tools like SCCM & Tanium, good understanding packaging tools like AdminStudio, and scripting knowledge on PowerShell or Python scripting.
+ Strong hold & good understanding on Active Directory environment.
+ Strong background on Windows Operating system (Server 2013 & later, Windows 10 & 11) operating systems, Basic Windows troubleshooting skills, networks, AD, and DNS
+ The candidate must have experience in deployment in large scale infrastructure in a global enterprise and proactively fix any foreseen deployment issues.
+ Must be able to work effectively & independently with a team of onshore and offshore resources to provide expertise and direction for triage & resolution of deployment issues.
+ Release & Deployment management/Request Fulfillment/Change management expertise.
+ Lead Triage /Management/Senior Management calls.
+ Have hands on experience with creation of playbook, automation tasks.
+ Troubleshooting experience and determine root cause analysis.
+ Have 4-6+ years on doing applications deployment experience onto Windows client devices."
**Desired skills**
+ Understanding of ITIL v4 & Site Reliability Engineering
+ Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
+ Ability to work independently with technical and non-technical business users.
**Work Timings***
_06:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM_
_Weekend Support: Yes (Rotational for any weekend Changes)_
