Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Operations Expert to oversee the operation, monitoring, and enhancement of the foundation’s critical security infrastructure, including network connectivity, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, digital signage, and related systems. The role ensures maximum uptime, operational reliability, and compliance with international standards.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, incident management, and system health monitoring while coordinating with vendors to address recurring technical challenges such as connectivity failures, recording interruptions, and storage limitations. Additionally, the expert will manage the transition of systems from development to operations and maintain the master connectivity design layout for security systems.

What You'll be doing:

Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable performance of enterprise applications, cloud services, data centers, and workplace technologies.

Establish and manage ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Oversee monitoring, reporting, and optimization of system performance, availability, and capacity.

Implement disaster recovery and business continuity measures to safeguard operations.

Manage the daily operation of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and related security systems.

Ensure uninterrupted video recording and system uptime across all facilities.

Conduct regular system health checks, monitor logs and alerts, and proactively resolve issues.

Lead preventive and corrective maintenance plans to reduce repetitive failures.

Oversee the integration of CCTV with command-and-control systems and video management platforms.

Ensure proper transition of CCTV and security systems from project development teams to operations.

Verify readiness of systems through acceptance testing, documentation, and operational sign-off.

Conduct training sessions for operations teams to ensure smooth adoption and sustainability of systems.

Maintain a structured process for system upgrades and new deployments to be fully transitioned into operations.

Develop and maintain the master connectivity design layout for CCTV, access control, and supporting systems.

Ensure all system connectivity designs align with infrastructure standards and support scalability.

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to validate layouts before implementation.

Regularly update documentation to reflect changes, expansions, and integration requirements.

Lead response to recurring failures such as loss of connectivity, camera downtime, and recording disruptions.

Perform root cause analysis for repetitive system issues to ensure permanent solutions are implemented.

Act as the escalation point for urgent operational incidents affecting security systems.

Support emergency response teams with live system data and ensure availability of recordings for investigations.

Monitor and manage video storage capacity to prevent data loss and ensure compliance with retention policies.

Implement advanced video analytics for predictive maintenance, intrusion detection, and crowd monitoring.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in system monitoring and maintenance.

Establish KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly operational reports to track failures, downtime, and vendor performance.

Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring accountability for SLA compliance and issue resolution.

Supervise on-site technicians and ensure proper documentation and handover of maintenance activities.

Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to align system performance with security goals.

What's Required for the role:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

8–10+ years in technology operations within large-scale or mission-critical environments.

Proven track record in resolving recurring issues such as connectivity failures, system downtime, and storage limitations.

Experience managing system handover from development to operations in mega projects.

Expertise in preparing and maintaining master connectivity layouts for complex security networks.

Strong background in preventive maintenance, vendor management, and SLA enforcement.

Hands-on experience in managing networks, VMS platforms, IP-based CCTV, and integrated security operations.
