We are seeking a hands-on Technology Manager to oversee local IT operations at our manufacturing subsidiary while ensuring alignment with corporate IT policies. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and production-related technology, providing both strategic IT leadership and hands-on technical support.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing IT environments, ensuring seamless technology integration to support both office and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 IT Infrastructure & Operations Management
🔹 Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement and enforce corporate cybersecurity policies to protect company data.Monitor systems for security threats, ensure data backup integrity, and develop disaster recovery plans.Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISO, NIST, CMMC, etc.).🔹 Manufacturing & Shop Floor Technology Support
Support IT-connected manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA, PLCs, IoT devices) to enhance production efficiency.Ensure seamless integration between inventory management and production tracking systems.Troubleshoot barcode scanners, label printers, and industrial PCs used in manufacturing operations.🔹 Technical Support & User Training
Provide onsite IT support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.Train employees on IT best practices, security protocols, and productivity tools.Act as the liaison between the local team and corporate IT for system updates and changes.🔹 IT Strategy & Process Optimization
Identify opportunities for automation, system upgrades, and process improvements.Assist in IT budget planning and cost-effective technology investments.Stay up to date with emerging IT trends in manufacturing.Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of IT experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, TCP/IP, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, project management, and vendor management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, or equivalent).
Experience with SQL databases, PowerShell, or Python scripting.
Familiarity with IT compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, GDPR, etc.).
