**Job Description:**
We are looking for the right candidate to join a tightly knit team focused on enabling new ways of working and empowering our employees and partners to do more with technology to advance our core mission of enabling science through world-class innovation. This role can be based in Raritan, NJ, Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, or remotely in the US.
The ideal candidate is a technology professional with continuous learning habits, cross-domain enterprise scale expertise in desktop, network, desktop and application virtualization, endpoint management and endpoint security, public cloud services from both Microsoft and Amazon Web Services, and has domain-specific model and AI literacy skills in these areas. Since our internal IT services will be AI augmented going forward, this individual should understand AI scaling, the strategic impact of AI, AI value creation, effective use of AI, and effective AI engineering.
**Key Job Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in defining advanced technology service strategy and roadmap creation, including alignment to vendor support and product roadmaps, as well as emerging employee use cases.
+ Continuously optimize existing production services based on current and emerging technologies, for optimal alignment to use cases.
+ Explore emerging technologies and trends across different domains to drive innovation and acquire new skills.
+ Continuously evaluate current situations, anticipate events, and act to deliver maximum business value.
+ Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design, to then drive development.
+ Be an advocate of industry best-practices to produce reliable, fault-torrent and dependable services.
+ Participate in architecture and design reviews, guide decision making, planning and execution to maintain our high development quality standards.
+ Anticipate and respond to trends and disruptions.
+ Maintain skillset competitiveness in the broader job market and within JNJ.
+ Set clear objectives using OKRs and outcome-driven metrics.
+ Continuously improve abilities, personal effectiveness, and be driven to take on new challenges.

**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent applied experience
+ 5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing services (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
+ 5+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure operations experience
+ 5+ years of cloud foundational services
+ Experience mentoring and/or leading an engineering team

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$100,000 to $172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
