We are seeking a **Technology Governance Manager** (Technology Manager) to join Zions Bancorporation. The Technology Governance Manager plays a key role in ensuring that our technology practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards, driving the strategic direction of technology governance, and fostering a culture of compliance and risk management across the organization. This role will have a significant impact on maintaining the integrity and security of our technology operations, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and community.
**The Technology Governance Manager will:**
+ Analyze, adopt, and implement technology governance frameworks and policies.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
+ Support and continuously improve the governance function across all technology domains.
+ Design and lead the implementation of automation and AI models to enhance governance activities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed governance practices into technology initiatives and projects.
+ Monitor, analyze, and report on technology governance metrics and KPIs.
+ Oversee the development, maintenance, and accessibility of governance-related documentation.
+ Provide guidance, training, and support to staff on governance policies, standards, and procedures.
+ Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other oversight bodies.
+ Advocate for the value of technology governance and its role in delivering business outcomes. **Qualifications:**
+ Experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance, typically gained over 6+ years.
+ Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards, such as ISO, NIST, and GDPR.
+ Demonstrated expertise in leading risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
+ Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
+ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT) are highly desirable.
+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
**Work Location:**
This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company’s primary technology and operations center.
