The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology (ERFT) is responsible for providing the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer with technology strategy, development, and delivery of technical capabilities in support of their business and product priorities. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. This group provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our line of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

Position Responsibilities

As the Technology Executive - Financial Crimes, you will report to the CIO of ERFT. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of technology initiatives supporting Wells Fargo’s end-to-end risk-based approach for satisfying its financial crimes, regulatory obligations, and effectively mitigating financial crimes risks pertaining to Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (“ABC”). You will lead technology engineering teams to design, test, and build safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for all Financial Crimes requirements and coach your team to operate in an agile construct. This position will be responsible for leading the continued modernization of the organization’s Enterprise Risk systems.

This role will also ensure appropriate governance, oversight, and compliance for all technology controls. You will work to influence many distinct functions and areas across Enterprise Risk, Technology and Strategy and must be able to work with senior leaders of the organization to gain agreement and drive towards goals to be executed. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a background in Treasury management systems. This individual must be a highly motivated team player and a self-starter who can drive change in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve results. The candidate should demonstrate executive presence and be accustomed to presenting material to senior level executives. The candidate should be flexible, be able to withstand challenges and adapt accordingly.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of Management experience

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$290,000.00 - $500,000.00
