Purpose
This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining support processes for Technology Enablement Tools (Online Self-Service, e-Billing, EDI/XML Connections, Catalogs, etc.) used to achieve Shared Business Services productivity goals. SBS expects to achieve a significant portion of its productivity goals by increasing process standardization, simplification and automation. This position will support that goal by helping to identify and on-board suppliers and internal partners to technology platforms to streamline the requisition-to-pay (RTP) process. The incumbent will also work with the SBS organization and the business/functional areas to establish and implement automation goals and deployment plans in each area. The role is global and is required to work effectively in a variety of multi-cultural situations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following end results:
Development, implementation and maintenance of Technology Enablement Tool support processes including training documentation, testing methodology, etc.
Develop, configure and support electronic procurement tools
Contribute and participate in project development for finding improved technology opportunities
Assuring Power User Networks across SBS Process Streams have the capabilities required to support the tools deployed to their areas.
Providing Level 2 support to Power User Network, Business Areas, Functions and suppliers including problem analysis and incident management.
Analyzing (cost/benefit) and coordinating the implementation of e-connections solutions. Responsible for client interface, field/process mapping and IT project coordination.
Collaborate with Internal Business Partners on catalog requirements
Collaborate with DT resources for creation of Procurement catalogs. Coordinate and complete testing.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for our internal User population and external Suppliers.
Reporting support KPI’s for the Technology Enablement tools portfolio.
Grow technology enablement to meet regional goals and objectives
Measure and report progress toward achievement of deployment goals
Develop and implement global support processes for process automation tools.
Customize and deliver training programs for process automation and tools
Back up and support the Technology Enablement Purchasing Tool Lead responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
BS Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or Business.
5+ years of business/operations experience in a related field.
3+ years of procurement operations experience.
Advanced skills in SAP Ariba & SRM. Knowledge of SAP SRM, MM, FI required.
Experience in project management.
Demonstrated effective leadership, teamwork and influencing skills.
Experience working with and/or leading global and inter-departmental teams.
Demonstrated experience working cross functional teams.
Continuous Improvement (CI skills).
Understanding of Requisition to Pay process.
