Overview

A Technology Consultant is responsible for providing technology advice and solutions to businesses, helping them enhance their technological capabilities, implement new systems, and solve technical problems. This role involves a deep understanding of National Security Law and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to identify their needs and deliver optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their technology needs and business goals.

Solution Development: Develop and propose technology solutions tailored to client requirements.

Project Management: Manage and oversee technology projects from inception to completion.

System Implementation: Assist clients in the implementation of new systems, including hardware, software, and networks.

Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for client systems.

Training: Conduct training sessions for clients on new systems and technologies.

Research and Analysis: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of client consultations, project plans, and system implementations.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and other technology systems.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Project Management: Experience in managing technology projects, including budgeting and timeline management.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and develop appropriate technology solutions.

Client Focus: Strong client service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required with 20+ years of experience.

Experience: Relevant work experience in a consulting or technology role is preferred.

The likely salary range for this position is $195,500 - $264,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
