The mission of the Capacity Management function within the Firm's Resilience function is to ensure the operational stability and resilience of Morgan Stanley's global technology environment. This is achieved by governing and optimizing capacity management practices.

What you’ll do in the role:
Maintain the Capacity Management Standard and associated procedures to enable compliance with regulatory requirements, align with emerging industry best practices, and mitigate capacity management-related risks.
Support delivery of initiatives to implement, maintain, and optimize controls, processes and supporting tooling to ensure the delivery of Capacity Management objectives.
Support the management of the Capacity Management Control Committee, providing governance & oversight for the Firm's Technology Capacity Management Program.
Support oversight of Capacity Management control adoption and compliance at a firmwide level, partnering with technology divisions to support ongoing program delivery.
Manage capacity management monthly reporting collation and distribution for program governance and monitoring purposes.
Partner with the Capacity Management tooling team to develop product roadmap, deliver enhancements to tooling capacity in support of ongoing program development.
Coordinate responses to internal audit and regulatory requests for information pertaining to the Capacity Management program.
What you’ll bring to the role:
5+ years of proven experience in supporting a Capacity Management/performance management, function within a financial institution is essential, with a large, diverse, international, multi-platform IT estate
Regulatory Understanding: Demonstrable evidence of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as DORA, or equivalent regulations in the financial/technology sector from a Capacity Management perspective
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to articulate program enhancements and influence key stakeholders
Best Practice Methodology: Knowledge of ITIL Processes generally and Capacity Management processes and controls specifically
Best Practice Methodology: Strong understanding of industry best practices pertaining to capacity management
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Strong team player who is proactive, positive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proven Project Management experience
PC skills: Above proficient skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Expert in ITIL 4 Capacity and Performance Management
