What is the opportunity?
The Technology Applications Trainer position helps RBC WM Financial Advisors, and their teams, adopt new technology as well as enhance their existing technology and business processes to increase productivity, efficiency and effectiveness in their overall practice. Primary technologies of focus for the Technology Applications Trainer include, but not limited to: CRM (Salesforce), Trading (LeoTrade, Tradeweb Direct, Portfolio Advantage), AdvisoryLink, Research (Insight, Morningstar, FactSet), Reporting (Addepar, RBC Dashboard), Mobility (Salesforce, FactSet, WMO), Account Opening (AOS, ClientSource) and Client Facing (WM Online). The position comprises of one on one coaching calls; Webex presentations with individuals and groups; travel to Private Client Group (PCG) branch offices for training; and presenting/or supporting at various PCG National and Complex events.
As part of a broader organization, the Technology Training team partners in several functional areas such as PCG, IT, Operations, Information Security, and Compliance. Members of the department participate in additional cross-functional teams for projects and campaigns.
What will you do?
Provide personalized training, coaching, and support to advisors and their teams related to business and technology initiativesProvide subject matter expertise in a broad range of systems, processes, programs, tools, and productsCoordinate and deliver outbound National and Target training classes and eventsDevelop and maintain training scripts, presentations, and materials, as neededTravel to branch offices to provide onsite coaching and training (both one-on-one and group)Participate on cross-functional teams during projects, campaigns and firm initiativesWhat do you need to succeed?

Ability to travel 30-50% of the timeA four-year degree or relevant industry experienceAdvanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office applicationsNice-to-have
