The Technologist Dairy / Non-Dairy (m/f/d) is responsible for developing innovative and high-quality products in the dairy and non-dairy sectors, focusing on the UK market. This role involves advancing technical and raw material knowledge, executing development projects in the pilot plant, customer presentations and up-scaling from idea creation to large production trials.


Core Responsibilities:

Implement corporate strategy in the development area as per the Development Manager's requirementsDevelop new products (me-too and innovation) and technologies in the dairy/non-dairy sector, focusing on the UK marketAdvance technical and raw material knowledge in the dairy/non-dairy sectorExecute cost re-engineering projects in collaboration with sales and procurement for existing customers and internal projectsManage development projects in the dairy sector, coordinating with sales on priorities for the UK sales areaProvide technical support and advice to customers and prospectsEnsure documentation of all development activities, including projects, recipes, results, and stabilization systems in the dairy/non-dairy sectorMaintain constant communication between the Development Center in the UK and GermanyPlan and coordinate training programs at the Development Center UKSupport quality control by checking the functionality of stabilization systemsEnsure compliance with company policies, focusing on food safety (HACCP plan, allergen management, personal hygiene, industrial cleaning, hazardous substances), environmental aspects, and customer-specific requirements (Halal, RSPO, Kosher, VLOG)Address any issues that could result in product nonconformity or customer complaints

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

Degree in Food Science or other Food related science disciplineExcellent understanding of food science, industrial food processes, and interactions between different food ingredients or ingredient systemsFluency in English, both written and spokenProven hands-on experience of running projects in a pilot plant environmentAbility to travel approximately 25%, mainly between the UK and Germany
