Job Description:
The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and inspecting that all corporate, regulatory, and industry-established standards and procedures are in compliance. This Quality Technician role plays a pivotal role in site nonconformance's, systems management, and daily quality and food safety outputs from the site. The role reports to the site Quality Manager and is a member of the site R&D/QFS team.
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma/ GED or 2 years of manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
Bachelor's degree in the science-related discipline or equivalent manufacturing experience in an equivalent role
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding and command of Microsoft programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years experience in Quality, Food Safety, or Regulatory Services preferred
SAP, Nexus, and/or JDA software applications
Key Responsibilities:
Support the QMP and corporate Q&FS standards implementation at the site by working with the Site QFS team and Supply to rollout out new standards.
Carry out internal audits as per the QMP Verification program and maintain corrective/preventative action process for the local site.
Coordinate inputs for global metrics reporting and compile slides for site leadership reviews for Q&FS/QMP
Actively participate in quality continuous improvement projects
Coordinate the daily Product Panel and ensure product and pack standards are available for supply reference.
Maybe an SAP key functional user at the site.
Collate documentation necessary for product disposition by the QFS manager.
Coordination of customer and consumer complaints data from supply to close out investigations
Carry out daily shift conformance reviews.
Maintain retention samples for finished products.
Site document and record controller
Ensure lab inventory is current and up to date with necessary resources
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Demonstrate a quality culture in actions, words, and spirit.
Strong oral, listening, and written communication skills in order to communicate with associates across all levels within the company
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
