Shift: Su - Th 10 pm -7am
This position is part of the Purification Value Stream located in San Diego and will be onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare, test and monitor reagents for synthesis, purification, and quality control processes
- Assesses QC data accurately and makes pass/fail decisions for oligos
- Use automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance, decontamination and troubleshooting activities while adhering to safety regulations, lab SOPs, and contamination controls
The essential requirements of the job include:
· High School diploma or GED with 18 months of lab experience
· Associate’s degree in science related field
- Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
· Excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
-Ability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures sequence or pace.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
The hourly range for this role is $23-25. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
