**12929BR** **Title:** Technician I, Supplier Quality - CR **Job Description:** Support the supplier quality activities related to development and manufacture of medical devices. Work with engineers to address various product reliability and quality issues. In addition, be in charge of the execution of IQOQ process for RI equipment, execution of TM, execution of inspection routines, supplier re-evaluations, material containment activities, and supplier metrics. Job duties: + Assist engineers with investigation of raw material, product and process quality issues. + Assist engineers with product testing and test method validations. + Assist engineers with IQOQ executions. + SAP support. + Assist with activities related to equipment calibration, corrective/preventive actions, nonconformance reports, and internal audits. + Monitor all activities to ensure the product is processed properly through the entire process from receipt through transfer to finished goods. + Develop and maintain supplier metrics. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Auto req ID:** 12929BR **Location:** Alajuela, Costa Rica **Department Name:** 3211-CR-Quality **Qualifications:** 1. Minimum of one (1) year of technical work experience in the medical device industry. 2. Good communication skills, including communication with associates in other departments. 3. High school diploma or equivalent. 4. Studies in Quality Technician, Industrial Engineering, or Administration or similar career. 5. 50% English required (B2). **Desired Qualifications** 1. Knowledge of medical product manufacturing and quality. 2. Ability to read and follow test procedures. 3. Ability to perform product inspections, understanding technical documentation including mechanical drawings. 4. Good computer skills especially with Word and Excel. 5. Strong written and oral communications. 6. Good interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work under pressure. 8.
