We are seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician to join our Laverton branch, primarily supporting our Rail team with repairs and maintenance, while also assisting across our On-Highway and Power Generation departments. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster + Diagnose and repair engines + Inspect and replace components as required + Engine rebuilding and reconditioning **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic (to Australian standards) + Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of rail heavy diesel products and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM) + Valid Australian Driver’s license required **_At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
