BOILER TECHNICIAN

- Monitor pressure gauges, flow meters, thermometers and other measurement devices or equipment. Perform water sampling and treatment.

- Adjust control to maintain specified settings such as temperature, steam pressure, air pressure, water pressure, etc.- Operate valves in order to control heat, steam, water, chemical flow and other mixes.- Install, maintain and repair electro-pneumatic valves and direct control devices related to boiler systems.- Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with specifications, as well as detect and locate malfunctions.- Check fluid levels on gearboxes, lubricate bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following stablished checklist.- Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches and schematics.- Recognize, diagnose and solve mechanical failures, determine corrective actions needed, check blueprints, manuals and parts catalog.- Perform timely repair and routine maintenance.- Preventive maintenance on equipment.- Deal with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.- Experience using power tools, saws, drills, impacts, grinder, etc.- Should be able to work on high heat and cold environments, heights, confined spaces.- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.- Perform pipe repairs.- Welding and fabrication skills preferred. REQUIREMENT: HS diploma/GED required.  Technical school preferred. Minimum 1-2 yrs industrial maint. experienceScheduleCrew (2B): WED-THUR-FRI:18:00-6:30SAT: 18:00-00:30 Pay: $28.10 +$1 Shift differential Please include all work experience even if you are submitting a résumé (FT, PT, temp, etc.) for the past 5 years.  Failure to complete this or entering 'N/A' will result in automatic disqualification. EOE/including disability/vets
