VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Technician Assistant/Pet Care Attendant to join our dedicated veterinary team. This role is perfect for someone who loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn more about veterinary medicine. We are a well-established, AAHA-accredited, emergency practice in Scottsdale, Arizona and due to the nature of our business hours, the candidate MUST be able to work some weekends and holidays.
Schedule: 15-20 hours a week. Sunday - Tuesday
Responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care
Walking, feeding, and monitoring hospitalized pets
Cleaning and maintaining kennels, treatment areas, and hospital facilities
Helping with patient restraint during exams or treatments
Supporting the medical team with daily tasks to ensure excellent care
Qualifications:
Previous animal care experience preferred, but not required—training provided
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Compassionate and patient demeanor with animals of all sizes and temperaments
Willingness to learn and be part of a team environment
