404 Veterinary Emergency + Referral Hospital is welcoming Technician Assistants to join our Emergency team on a Casual basis. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
Duties will include:
Assisting the Emergency team with patient triages and examsAssisting the Emergency team with diagnostics (radiography/CT)Assisting with Emergency surgeries - patient prep and prep of the surgical suiteSome reception duties including answering the phones and checking in/billing out emergency clientsProviding compassionate care and comfort for hospitalized pets.What VCA Canada Offers
