**Technician Assistant, Emergency Department** **Newmarket, ON** **404 Veterinary Emergency + Referral Hospital** is welcoming **Technician Assistants** to join our Emergency team on a **Casual** basis. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include: + Assisting the Emergency team with patient triages and exams + Assisting the Emergency team with diagnostics (radiography/CT) + Assisting with Emergency surgeries - patient prep and prep of the surgical suite + Some reception duties including answering the phones and checking in/billing out emergency clients + Providing compassionate care and comfort for hospitalized pets. **What VCA Canada Offers** Join our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
