**Description:** **Duties and tasks related to the Technician role include:** + Being responsible for carrying out any required engineering or maintenance tasks + Performing repairs and maintenance in guest bedrooms, public and back of house areas, ensuring they are maintained to a high level and exceed guest expectations + Conducting general repairs and maintenance including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and compliant with required standards and safety regulations + Completing planned preventive maintenance within the plant rooms, bedrooms and public areas + Regularly inspect the entire building with particular attention to safety features and to monitor the condition of all operating equipment + Working closely with the security departing in overseeing Health & Safety **Qualifications:** + Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management desirable + Minimum 2 years work experience as Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or 4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant **Primary Location:** QA-Doha-Doha **Organization:** Andaz Doha **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** DOH002870 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
