We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing team!

Are you passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement? We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will play a crucial role in implementing, modifying, and monitoring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our discrete production processes. You will work closely with engineers to develop innovative solutions, design specialized tooling, and ensure our manufacturing operations run at peak performance. When technical challenges arise on the production line, you'll be the problem-solver who keeps our operations moving forward.

Do you thrive on process improvement? You will identify and optimize current and new manufacturing processes using continuous improvement techniques, directly impacting our operational efficiency and quality standards.Are you skilled at designing practical solutions? Identify, design and validate specialized tooling including mechanized equipment, mechanical inspection fixtures, and alignment tools that enable effective product assembly while minimizing complexity.Do you excel at creating clear documentation? Develop and author SOPs, Work Instructions, Bills of Material, Purchasing Specs, Test Methods, and Validation Protocols that guide our manufacturing teams to success.Are you excited about cutting-edge technology? Support the development and implementation of new technology solutions including automation, vertical integration, and innovative process development that expand our manufacturing capabilities.Do you provide reliable ongoing support? Offer sustaining support to manufacturing throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring consistent quality and performance.Do you contribute to risk management? Participate in risk management activities including FMEA studies to identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact production.

WHAT YOU BRING

Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in production fabrication/assembly processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio) and high proficiency in MS Project.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels, including presenting information to co-workers, supervisors, managers, and executives.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, contracts/agreements, and service procedure manuals.Preferred qualifications: AutoCAD and SolidWorks knowledge, Spanish language skills.Travel requirement: Must be willing to travel to our Tijuana, MX locations as needed.
