POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician, IT Resort AV shall be responsible for helping to achieve on-going guest satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance/operations and
upkeep of all assigned facilities within the property, consistency of power and water supplies, proper and continuous working condition of all facilities of the property.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides service to both guests and our internal customers.
2. Provides accurate and correct information to guests about hotel and casino policies, services and amenities.
3. Responds to requests from guests for assistance and information about the local areas (e.g., directions, places to eat, etc.).
4. Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company by diligently following the preventive maintenance program of the property.
5. Ensures he fully understands and follows the instructions of designated staff in operating and controlling plant and equipment.
6. Performs assigned monitoring and repair works on time to ensure guest satisfaction and convenience.
7. Responds appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to immediate superior or to assigned position responsible immediately.
8. Performs routine inspection and works with preventive maintenance team while waiting for guests’ requests
9. Shows flexibility in terms of one’s schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
10. Abides to company policy on grooming standards.
11. Be a team player; help out fellow employees when possible.
12. Performs other reasonable duties assigned by his superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Preferably 1-2 years of work experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial building/shopping center in a similar capacity
2. Working knowledge on hotel maintenance operations is an advantage
II. Education
Vocational-related course or Degree is preferable but not a requirement
III. Skills / Competencies
Average to good English communication skills
