Technical Writer
Overview

We’re looking for a detail-driven and bilingual Manufacturing Technical Writer to help document and standardize our manufacturing processes. This role is key to supporting the successful transition of production lines to our Mexico-based team by creating clear, accurate, and bilingual documentation in English and Spanish.

What You’ll DoPartner with engineers, production managers, and technicians to gather technical data and workflow insights.Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing operations.Translate technical content between English and Spanish with precision and consistency.Create visual documentation aids—diagrams, flowcharts, and annotated images—to support clarity.Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO standards and internal quality systems, maintaining version control.Conduct on-site observations and interviews to validate procedures.Support cross-border training efforts by delivering accessible and well-organized documentation.Contribute to the development of scalable digital documentation systems and templates.What You’ll BringFluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing within a manufacturing or engineering setting.Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation tools such as Visio and Confluence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
