PDS Tech Commercial in partner with a leading global technology leader serving process industries is hiring for a Technical Writer (DITA XML Document Specialist) with 1–2 years of experience to join our team in driving the future of technical communication. Your work will directly contribute to modernizing and streamlining critical documentation that supports operations in a global, sustainability-focused industry.  This postion can be remote for the right candidate
 

What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Technical Writer, you’ll play a key role in transforming legacy documentation into structured, easy-to-maintain content using the DITA standard. You will: 

Develop, edit, and maintain structured content in DITA XML. 

Migrate existing documents into a modern, structured format. 

Use tools like RWS Tridion Docs CCMS and Oxygen XML Editor to manage content workflows. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information. 

Ensure content consistency, quality, and usability across platforms. 

Work independently while managing deadlines and project priorities. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications: 

1–2 years of experience in technical writing, focused on DITA XML and structured content. 

Hands-on experience with document migration and content standardization. 

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting attitude. 
 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Familiarity with RWS Tridion Docs CCMS. 

Experience using Oxygen XML Editor or similar tools. 

Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is a plus.

Pay Details: $50.00 per hour
