The Critical Role For You

We have an opportunity to join Ivanti as a Technical Writer. The role can be based anywhere in the United States – we’re the everywhere workplace!

What will you do?

We have phenomenal products and our 45,000 customers would agree! As part of our obsession with providing simply the best customer service to our customers, it’s really important that we respond to their questions in a timely and professionally engaging a manner as possible.

That’s where you are really important.

As Technical Writer for Ivanti, you’ll get information requests and questionnaires from our customers regarding our security product suite. You will need to collaborate right across our global organisation to find the information that you need to provide compelling customer responses that will enable them to maximise their use of our security product suite. In addition to creating customer-facing content, you will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining internal security and technical policies to support best practices within the organization. This role will require you to support and liaise with our external security vendor, ensuring information and processes are accurately documented and communicated. You will also work closely with our internal audit teams, assisting in the preparation and provision of clear, actionable documentation required for audit processes.

We need someone who is super curious and organised! You’ll build lots of content quickly and have the opportunity to create documentation libraries to ensure the usefulness and relevance of the content you produce.

Day to Day you will:

Respond to customer requests for information and create responses to help the customer understand our security products Write engaging content that provides clear technical explanations in a human voice Work to always improve our existing content library to ensure it is both up to date and of the quality expected of Ivanti content Develop, review, and maintain internal policies and procedures, especially those relating to information security and compliance Support and collaborate with our external security vendor by ensuring all required documentation is current, accurate, and accessible Liaise with and provide documentation support to internal audit teams throughout the audit process

What you will need to be successful: Ideally experience in writing for security policies and customer questionnaires. This doesn’t necessarily have to be as a Technical Writer – if you have had to respond to customers requests for technical information and think you’d be a great fit for Ivanti – we want to hear from you!
