Job Description
As a Technical Writer, you will interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and customer operations data to develop support solutions and products. Your role includes support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions, and the development of maintenance, inspection, and technical support data. You will provide recommendations on product supportability, establish operational maintenance tasks, and support resources. Additionally, you will develop support systems to meet supportability requirements, identify logistics support candidates, and determine spares provisioning requirements.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret and analyze engineering data to develop support solutions and products.Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish maintenance tasks and support resources.Develop support systems to achieve supportability requirements.Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop logistics support analysis records and reports.Determine spares provisioning requirements and establish recommendations for spare and replacement parts.Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.Evaluate aircraft and fleet operational performance to establish maintenance concepts.Support the development, analysis, collection, and storage of system support technical data elements.Assist with providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing operational maintenance tasks.Participate in preparing technical documentation for aircraft systems and components.Essential SkillsTechnical writing and assembly instructions.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Typing skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work well with others.Additional Skills & QualificationsStructural engineering background is a plus.Military maintenance background preferred, particularly related to support equipment.Experience authoring maintenance procedures is advantageous, but not required.Computer literacy required, including proficiency in MS Office.Work Environment
The position operates on the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.25 - $41.56/hr.
