Job Title: Technical Writer Location: Remote / Bulgaria Department: Product Management Reports To: Content Design Manager Quickbase is a powerful no-code platform that enables anyone to solve complex problems brilliantly. We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Content Design team. This role will focus on creating clear, concise, and customer-friendly content for our help center. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, technical support teams, and our amazing Content Design team. Our team is centred around collaboration and communication. We review our work together to give and receive feedback, ask questions, and learn. A basic knowledge of software development or coding is a significant advantage for this role, as your work will include explaining highly technical concepts, such as APIs, automations, and databases, clearly. We’re looking for someone who is able to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear, user-friendly content while aligning with our style guide and help center standards. Experience updating existing help center content to new standards is a plus. Key Responsibilities + Develop clear and concise documentation for Quickbase features. Update existing articles to meet updated standards. Content types include step-by-step instructions, general knowledge base articles, and reference materials. Check out our help center to get a full picture of our product areas and content types. + Plan and manage documentation publishing based on project timelines + Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, technical support teams, UX designers, and content designers + Inform our help center strategy and assist Senior Content Designers in implementing new processes and standards + Support the release notes process for monthly product releases Preferred Qualifications + 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a software or SaaS environment + Online portfolio showcasing help documentation writing experience + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Demonstrated ability to speak our customers’ language and maintain high standard of quality and accuracy + Familiar with integrating AI into the documentation lifecycle + In-depth, practical knowledge of modern knowledge base principles and best practices + Self-motivation and initiative to learn + Experience with content audits or large scale updates a huge plus + Sufficient familiarity with HTML to make minor changes to help article code.
