We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Technical Writer. This position is in support of USAREUR-AF G34 Office of the Provost Marshall Installation Access G34-OPM, located in Germersheim, Germany. This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Assists in developing enterprise and system documentation, including design documents, installation guides, release notes, and online user help systems
Possesses practical knowledge regarding the networks, systems, hardware, and software that is the subject of the technical writing
Works with cross-functional teams to create and maintain user and administrator documentation for software applications
Participates in documentation gathering processes and attends documentation review meetings
Helps transform technical team documents into narratives, specifications, flowcharts, and process flows
Researches and tests applications to gather content and ensure documentation accuracy
Creates written content and diagrams to communicate COTS and GOTS information for various audiences
Contributes to the development of documentation standards and best practices
Drafts communications regarding project issues, objectives, and initiatives
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
BA/BS +4-7 years recent experience
Demonstrates strong technical writing skills, with experience in creating enterprise and system documentation, including design documents, installation guides, release notes, and online help systems.
Possesses practical knowledge of networks, systems, hardware, and software to effectively create and maintain user and administrator documentation for software applications.
Exhibits proficiency in transforming technical information into clear, user-friendly content, including narratives, specifications, flowcharts, and process flows.
Shows expertise in working with cross-functional teams and contributing to the development of documentation standards and best practices.
Displays ability to research and test applications to ensure documentation accuracy and draft communications regarding project issues, objectives, and initiatives.
Demonstrates adaptability in developing methodologies and presenting solutions to multiple complex technical writing assignments simultaneously.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
