If you are an Education Services Instructor professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Marshalltown, IA location, you will provide in-person factory based training, at Impact Partner offices or customer sites. The Instructor will also be delivering trainings both virtually/remotely. In this role, the individual will update existing and develop new course materials following IACET guidelines and best practice adult learning theory. *Relocation assistance available for selected non-local candidate. 

AS AN EDUCATION SERVICES INSTRUCTOR, YOU WILL:

Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers Contribute and collaborate with partners on improving course curriculum, student materials, and hands-on workshops Assist with the preparation of all necessary instructional materials and equipment for classes Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain a high degree of technical expertise on assigned topics, product offerings, and related process control equipment

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to people with varied roles and experience levels Previous experience with adult technical learning Strong mechanical maintenance skills  Self-motivated and able to thrive in team and highly autonomous settings Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability and willingness to travel in North America, up to 50% Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering or Industrial Technology Experience with Fisher Division products is preferred; some experience with Control Valve Engineering and FIELDVUE technology is ideal
