We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Technical Training Advisor** **​(Saudi National)** to join our team! In this role you will lead the establishment and early-stage development of a vocational training academy by providing strategic guidance on program design, infrastructure, and operational planning. This role also includes delivering high-quality technical training in alignment with industry standards, while helping to build the foundational systems, teams, and partnerships needed to ensure long-term success. The advisor will play a key role in bridging technical expertise with workforce development goals to meet the needs of both industry and government stakeholders. The Technical Training Advisor reports directly to H.E. the CEO of JCPDI. The role works closely with internal and externally contracted teams, including instructors, curriculum developers, and support staff. It also interfaces with senior management, city investors, industry partners, government agencies, external training providers, and community organizations. These relationships are critical to ensuring that the academy's programs align with strategic workforce development objectives and meet the evolving needs of stakeholders **What You'll Be Doing:** + Lead the planning, design, and establishment of vocational and technical training programs tailored to industry and national workforce needs. + Deliver specialized technical training sessions in engineering and industrial safety based on practical experience and industry standards. + Define program structures, training pathways, and certification models in alignment with local and international best practices. + Advise on the design and setup of training facilities, including technical labs, classrooms, and equipment specifications. + Develop and implement training policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent delivery. + Collaborate with industry partners, government entities, and training providers to align program content with real-world requirements. + Participate in the recruitment, selection, and professional development of trainers and support staff. + Support the development of training materials, technical manuals, and learning resources. + Establish performance metrics and evaluation systems to assess training effectiveness and learner progress. + Prepare and manage training-related budgets, forecasts, and resource plans in coordination with senior leadership. + Promote partnerships with external academic and training institutions for benchmarking and collaboration. + Represent the academy in strategic meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement forums. + Drive innovation in training methods, including digital learning, blended models, and hands-on instruction. + Provide technical mentorship and act as a subject matter expert to support the instructional team. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields is required. + An advanced degree such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering or related fields is highly desirable. + Additional certifications in training, instructional design, or workforce development are a plus. + At least 15 years of experience in engineering, technical training, or related fields. + Minimum 5 years in a leadership or advisory role, preferably in training or workforce development. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Proven ability to develop and deliver technical training programs. + Experience in setting up or supporting the launch of training centers or academies is preferred. + Good understanding of industry training standards and regulatory requirements. + Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
