Job Summary
Deliver training to Biologics employees via classroom and Web-based educational models. Responsible for the deployment of training and for the development, management and organization of the training function to assure that employees and managers are properly trained to perform their assigned duties.
The technical trainer will be required to maintain their technical knowledge (including, but not limited to spending time in the actual workflow) in order to deliver accurate and current technical training.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares for and delivers instructor-led, virtual, or webinar training on variety of topics (business processes, systems, new capabilities) to all levels of internal and external learners.

Uses adult learning techniques, training tools and terminology appropriate to the learner and topic.

Adapts presentation style to meet the learner needs.

Practices good classroom management techniques to handle a variety of classroom situations.

Anticipates addresses and fields questions.

Provides both positive and constructive feedback to learners.

Mentors and coaches employees.

Provides feedback on employees’ progress to employee’s supervisors/management.

Develops and implements training approaches to address employee’s performance gaps.

Develops exercises and demonstrations for training.

Prepares data requirements and tests exercises prior to training delivery.

Conducts post-release testing of system tasks used in training.

Conducts post-training testing to assess employee’s competency in understanding of program workflows and business rules, and how to administer them within the system.

Minimum Requirement

Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.

Education
Bachelors degree in a related area

Critical Skills

1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area or commensurate experience.

1 year of experience in training and development or human resources, preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong quality orientation including the ability to focus on details and adhere to quality standards

Additional Skills

Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines and schedules

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral

Strong customer service orientation

Strong problem solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide answers

Highly motivated and committed to excellence with a positive attitude

Ability to be flexible and work consistently in a dynamic and changing environment

Ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals

Ability to work a flexible schedule

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$23.25 - $38.75
