Strategic Thinker and quality advocate who provides expert-level recommendations to improve software quality across the software development life cycle, identifies testing gaps and challenges, proposes, develops, implements and maintains new solutions, frameworks and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of software development. Core Responsibilities: + Develops and implements the test automation strategy, test design, and creation and coding reviews to ensure quality. Make recommendations to senior management to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner. + Provides expert support and oversight to creation and maintenance of automated tests. Leads in the development, implementation, control, and distribution of all quality assurance practices, standards, methodologies and metrics. Ensures that all information system products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements. + Analyzes input and output of test data, and applies risk assessment methods to identify risk, probability, impact, and mitigate approaches. Identifies discrepancies between requirements and expected results. Documents exceptions and makes recommendations for improvement. + Provides expert support and oversight to the creation and maintenance of quality assurance testing standards. Recognizes and identifies areas where policies and procedures need to be changed or developed. Updates and maintains existing product level automated tests. + Applies leadership and collaboration across IT teams to develop and execute manual End-to-End test cases and exploratory tests, following test case standards. + Trains and mentors’ staff and resolve complex elevated issues. Research and recommend new technologies and trends. + Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Additional Requirements (Strategist): + Strategic thinker who can define and execute a comprehensive test strategy + Industry knowledge to evaluate market trends and fold into testing strategy + Strategic partner who can evaluate end-to-end and improve User Acceptance Testing + Review current state of testing and define future state + Testing Tools and Automation Solutions + Defines solutions from problem statements + Understands business solutions and translates into high-level testing approach + Provides testing direction for new offerings + Provides automated solutions for complex testing requirements + Works with stakeholders during requirement gathering to define automated testing solutions + Collaboration and Consultation + Collaborates with other subdivisions/strategists to share ideas, best practices and tools + Collaborates across sub-divisions to increase quality assurance maturity + Consults with scrum leads/coaches to ensure that quality is part of the agile practice + Mentors and trains developers and QAE’s on testing best practices and products + Participates in solving complex testing issues and scenarios using available tools + Help teams address regression data failures + Process Improvement + Continuously researches and solicits feedback from stakeholders to enhance the Test Strategy and associated methodologies + Documents and communicates Testing Governance Standards + Identifies bottlenecks and opportunity areas for the organization, specific to quality assurance + Measures the impact of improvements and automation + Works with stakeholders to identify opportunities to shift testing left and address testing gaps Qualifications: + Minimum of seven years related work experience + Experience using AI/ML for automation + Working knowledge of Java, Python, AWS Service and Cucumber + Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
