We are looking for a Technical Team Lead (TTL) to take over the technical leadership of a suite of internal applications used by a leading international sports organization to manage large-scale event operations. These applications support critical workflows such as venue operations, site visits, and asset management for major international tournaments. You will step into the role currently held by an outgoing TTL and bring a fresh, structured approach to guiding the development team, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers across multiple applications. Guide architectural decisions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions. Maintain and evolve existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs. Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices. Act as a hands-on contributor when needed (especially in Node.js and Angular).
Tech Stack
You don’t need to be an architect, but you should have deep infrastructure and development knowledge. The current stack includes:
Cloud & Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure DevOps, Terraform CI/CD: Azure DevOps Pipelines Containers: Docker, Docker Compose Backend: Node.js (preferably NestJS), PostgreSQL Frontend: Angular (TypeScript), Angular Material (for styling)
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Technical Team Lead 10+ years of experience in software development and infrastructure Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially in Azure DevOps Proficiency in Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred) Solid hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to guide developers and make pragmatic technical decisionsWhat’s in it for you?
