Job DescriptionAbout the Role:The Technical Systems Owner oversees the development and alignment of platform delivery within Takeda's portfolio. This role focuses on the day-to-day development and alignment of platform services to the strategic vision, ensuring efficient and effective integration of hardware, software, and network interfaces.
How you will contribute:Experience in no/low code intelligent automation platforms (e.g., Opstrakker, Dataiku, Power Apps, Power Automate) to scale data workflows and automate processesAnalyse and understand customer requirements to guide platform service developmentDevelop and manage changes to platform services, ensuring alignment with business needsCollaborate with team members to achieve project objectivesMonitor and optimize platform performance to meet organizational targetsIntegrate new technology solutions to improve platform efficiency and effectivenessApply knowledge of IT infrastructure to support and maintain operational platformsManage complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Determine business criticality and product quality requirements, and in collaboration with Delivery Service Managers, ensure appropriate service levels, DR procedures, governance, change management, compliance, and operational supportLead or coordinate technical discussions and vendor negotiationsLead proposal development for local and global digital governance bodies, collaborate with Site IT Business Partner to meet the needs of the TO Manufacturing SiteThrough Agile delivery model, provide leadership, technical expertise, and local implementation experience as a member of Build and Run SquadsIn collaboration with IT Business Partners, monitor and improve stakeholder and user experience and ensure strong support of Product Transfers and Plan/Build/Run.Escalate critical issues to the Global teams and vendors.Ensure incidents, tickets, bugs, and enhancements are meeting defined service levels and customer expectationsParticipate in scrum/sprint meetings to provide clarity on requirements and acceptance criteria at requirement levelWhat you bring to Takeda:A Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or relevant field.or equivalent experienceFive (2) years of experience in the life sciences industry on large scale applicationsExperience in Computer System Validation (CSV) for manufacturing systems desiredSome experience in project management.Access to transportation to attend meetings.Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally.Important Considerations:At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

$86,500.00 - $135,960.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
