Technical Support Specialist, IT

How you’ll make an impact:

Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Configure and deploy computing devices using standardized imaging and deployment processes.Deliver brief, practical user training on hardware and systems in one-on-one or small group settings.Manage service requests and incident tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution.Support mobile and tablet devices to meet business needs.Collaborate with vendors for hardware orders, warranties, and project-related tasks.

What you'll need (Required):

High school diploma or 3+ years of relevant work experience, including exposure to IT hardware and software.Alternatively, a university degree or a technical certificate in IT or a related discipline is preferred.Previous experience in technical support is a plus, but not mandatory.

What else we look for (Preferred):

Familiarity with diagnosing and repairing IT hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 11, and VPN tools.Knowledge of Active Directory and ticketing systems.Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and processes.
