KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH – EMENA is searching Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Herentals, Belgium.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Kemin Application Solutions (KAS) team. This team is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of product application systems and services offered to our customers. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of automated dosing processes.

Responsibilities

Technical Support & Engineering

Provide day-to-day technical support to Field Service EngineersTroubleshoot and repair systems and components, including warranty and trial unitsAssist in manufacturing and functional testing of applicators prior to shipmentSupport the design, configuration, and optimization of industrial processesContribute to the development of P&IDs, electrical schematics, user manuals, and installation guidesParticipate in training and development of KAS team membersMonitor and report competitor activitiesFoster a collaborative and positive team environment

Customer Focus

Minimize applicator downtime through effective supportEnsure customer satisfaction through ongoing technical assistancePrepare detailed documentation outlining technical solutions and pricingRespond to customer and Sales Team inquiries with technical expertiseRecommend suitable solutions based on customer needs and product capabilitiesMaintain accurate records of customer interactions using CMMS software

Continuous Improvement

Stay informed about new products, features, and industry trendsContribute to the development of new dosing systems and special-purpose applicationsDesign and implement quality control procedures and risk assessmentsConduct and report on quality checks of goods and materials Qualifications

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering or a closely related disciplineSolid academic background in one or more of the following areas:Electro-mechanical systemsMeasurement and control technologyProcessing engineering

Core Competencies and Skills

Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical schematicsProven experience in troubleshooting equipment and conducting system-level testsHighly organized with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solvingDetail-oriented and capable of managing complex tasks independently or within a teamExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in EnglishComfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Preferred Experience and Attributes

Practical experience in plant automation or feed mill process technologyFamiliarity with liquid dosing systems and their operational requirementsStrong analytical thinking and sound decision-making capabilitiesCommitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
