In Eaton, making our work exciting, engaging, meaningful; ensuring safety, health, wellness; and being a model of inclusion & diversity are already embedded in who we are - it’s in our values, part of our vision, and our clearly defined aspirational goals. **What you’ll do:** **Job Summary** Working within the Life Safety business providing technical and pre-sales support to customers and local sales team. **Job Responsibilities** - Undertake ongoing training and study in relation to Eaton's fire and emergency lighting solutions to develop and retain strong technical capability - Provide training support for customers and end users in the territory - Support major projects with on site technical and commissioning support where required/directed - Work closely with Eaton partners to transfer knowledge to their engineers and technical support staff - As directed by the regional sales manager provide pre-sales support (design, configuration, quotation) to Eaton partners - Engage with the global technical support teams in both the Fire and Emergency Lighitng businesses to manage quality issues and returns **Qualifications:** **Education level required** Engineering/technical degree or equivalent **Years and area of experience required** 1-2 years in a technical support or engineering role **Technical knowledge** Background in Fire Detection, experience with Emergency Lighting **Skills:** Good written and spoken English, effective communicator We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
