We are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Supervisor to join our Pre Analytics team at the Eurofins Biomnis laboratory in Sandyford, Dublin18.
Working Hours: 39 Hours p/w (Tuesday - Saturday)
Job DescriptionThe main responsibilities of the Technical Supervisor are to provide leadership that results in the delivery of an effective, efficient, quality assured and patient centred laboratory service. Provide guidance and to supervise all staff in Pre-Analytics, Specimen Reception. To lead and co-ordinate all staff and/or support staff within Eurofins Biomnis. Ensure that the team is allocated according to their ability, education, training and patient needs and apply maximum delegation compatible with safe work practice. To ensure that good communication channels exist between Supervisors in Pre-Analytics and ensure proper handing over between shifts.
Provide leadership that results in the delivery of an effective, efficient, quality assured and patient centred laboratory service. Be responsible for organisation of workload, prioritising tasks to ensure the effective running of the Pre-Analytics Department.
Building key relationships within the Laboratory- Technicians and Medical Scientists, in Pre Analytics – Sample Management/Registration officers, the Head of Pre Analytics, Laboratory Services Manager, Operations Director and Client Services colleagues.
