Position Overview

The Technical Supervisor at JLL is responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of building systems across client facilities. This role ensures the optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while maintaining JLL's commitment to operational excellence, energy efficiency, and exceptional client service.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of technical specialists and maintenance personnel, providing technical guidance, supervision, and professional developmentOversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for complex building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systemsImplement our technical standards and best practices across assigned properties to ensure consistent service delivery and system reliabilityConduct technical inspections and audits using our quality assurance frameworks to identify improvement opportunities and compliance issuesManage critical equipment lifecycle planning and capital project implementation in collaboration with client teamsCoordinate with our energy management specialists to optimize building performance and support sustainability initiativesMonitor and analyze building system performance data through our technology platforms to identify trends and recommend improvementsEnsure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and our safety protocols for all technical operationsDevelop and maintain emergency response procedures for technical systems and support business continuity planningServe as a technical liaison between clients, contractors, and our management, providing expert consultation on system issues and upgradesQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Systems, Facility Management, or related technical field preferred5+ years of experience in technical building operationsStrong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and fire/life safety systemsExperience with building automation systems, preventive maintenance softwareStrong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills for complex building systems issuesExcellent project management capabilities for coordinating multiple technical initiativesEffective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersUnderstanding of energy management principles and sustainable building operationsJLL Culture & BenefitsJoin our global network of technical professionals with opportunities for knowledge sharing and career advancementWork with industry-leading building technologies and our proprietary maintenance management systemsContribute to our sustainability mission through efficient building operationsComprehensive benefits package including professional development and technical certification supportCollaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence
