On behalf of a market-leading maritime tug and barge operator based in Monaco, we are seeking a Technical Superintendent to join their experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the technical operations and maintenance of a fleet of tug and barge vessels. Ensure all vessels remain compliant with international maritime regulations and internal safety standards. Coordinate and supervise planned maintenance, dry dockings, and repairs. Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crew. Liaise closely with classification societies, flag states, and other regulatory bodies. Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chief Engineer is essential, preferably on tug vessels or bulk carriers. A minimum of 1 year of shore-based experience in a technical management or superintendent role. Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, class and flag requirements, and technical operations. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Preference to be in Monaco area.
