Job Description I am partnering with a reputed ship management company to recruit an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee their Chemical Tanker Fleet. This is a shore-based position offering the opportunity to work with a highly reputable operator, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of assigned vessels.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day technical management of assigned chemical tankers, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with statutory, class, and company requirements. Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities. Prepare and manage vessel budgets, monitor expenditure, and implement cost-control measures without compromising safety or quality. Conduct vessel visits, inspections, and audits, ensuring timely follow-up on findings and corrective actions. Liaise closely with Masters and Chief Engineers to provide technical guidance and support. Ensure all vessels comply with environmental, safety, and quality management systems. Review requisitions, evaluate supplier quotes, and approve orders for spare parts and consumables. Requirements
Sailed up to Chief Engineer onboard. Minimum 2 years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent. Proven experience managing Chemical Tanker vessels (Type 2 & 3). Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety management systems, and best practices in tanker operations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
