Job Description Technical Superintendent – Bunker Tankers

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of 4–5 bunker tankers working with oil majors on T/C or spot charters. You’ll lead both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring top-tier vessel performance, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities Manage daily technical operations, inspections, maintenance, and dry-dockings. Ensure compliance with IMO, Class, Flag State, and SIRE requirements. Control budgets and deliver projects within target variance. Promote HSEQ standards and drive continuous improvement. Lead, coach, and develop onboard teams. About You MEO Class 1 (Chief/Second Engineer) with tanker experience. At least 12 months sailing as Chief or Second Engineer, plus 1–2 years shore-based superintendent experience. Strong knowledge of classification, regulations, and dry-docking processes. Proven leadership and budget management skills.
