Job Description Technical Superintendent – Maritime
Location: Genoa, Italy | Full-Time, Permanent

On behalf of a well-established maritime company based in Genoa, we are looking to speak with experienced Technical Superintendents interested in a shore-based role with a focus on vessel management and technical operations.
The role will involve responsibility for the day-to-day technical performance of assigned vessels, including maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and liaison with onboard crews and third parties.

Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and managing technical condition and performance of vessels Coordinating repairs, dry dockings, and inspections Ensuring compliance with relevant maritime regulations and internal standards Managing budgets and technical documentation Supporting onboard teams with operational and technical issues Candidate requirements:
Previous experience in a similar shore-based role, or as a senior engineer onboard Solid understanding of vessel systems, maintenance processes, and maritime regulations Strong communication and organisational skills Fluency in English; Italian is beneficial Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of Genoa This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable, experienced technical team with an organisation that maintains a strong presence in the maritime sector.
