Job Responsibilities:

Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.Performing proper tests, repairs and or modifications in of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM.Ensures the On-Time delivery of repairs and Quality of repairsContributes to continuous improvement actions

Job Requirements:

Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics EngineeringAble to perform Level 3 component rework/repair/modifications of electronic PCBAs in accordance with approved technical dataAbility to use basic and advanced BGA rework equipment and perform adjustments as necessary.Capable of performing rework operations in support of BGA (Ball Grid Array) repair/replacement on densely populated multi-layered circuit boards.Familiar with Surface-Mount (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology.Ability to identify component packages and values.Experienced in lead and lead-free solder repair of surface mount and micro commercial electronics to component level.Certification in IPC-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards is an added advantage
